Your card and program selections stay in this browser. We do not collect card numbers. The home-page newsletter form is run by beehiiv and is the exception described below.

What is stored

• A list of program IDs you tick (cards, airlines, hotels) in your browser’s localStorage under perkoptimizer_selections_v1.
• Static public perk data shipped with this site (JSON files).

Select/results program picks (perkoptimizer_selections_v1), the compare page’s chosen cards (perkoptimizer_compare_v1), and the points calculator’s chosen program, balance, and optional card filter (perkoptimizer_points_v1, including its cardFilter field), and the points-use page’s chosen program and balance (po.pointsUse.v1) are saved only in your browser’s localStorage. Those selection lists are never sent to us. Clear this site’s data in your browser to remove them. Newsletter email is separate — see below.

Calendar reminder files are generated in your browser and downloaded to your device; nothing is sent to a server.

Newsletter sign-up

The newsletter sign-up form on the home page is provided by beehiiv. If you enter an email address there, that address goes to beehiiv so they can send the Perk Optimizer newsletter. It is not stored in this site’s localStorage. See beehiiv’s privacy policy.

What is not collected

• Credit card numbers, CVVs, or full account numbers
• Login passwords for banks or travel programs
• Your card and program selection lists (those stay in this browser only)

We do not run our own site-wide analytics package. The beehiiv newsletter embed on the home page does load third-party scripts and may set cookies for that form, as listed above. Our own pages do not load external fonts or CDNs for UI assets; the beehiiv form may load fonts and scripts from its providers.

How to clear selections

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings, or use your browser’s site-storage controls for local storage. There is no server-side copy of your picks.
